Jesus Christ – the Living Word of God.  Every time you open your Bible, study the Scriptures or read your favourite verse, you are interacting with Jesus Christ Himself.  The Word of God is ALIVE!  The Word of God is POWERFUL!  The Word of God is able to separate between soul and spirit like nothing else on earth.  The Word of God is JESUS.

We live by and through our relationship with Jesus Christ, both in prayer and in the Word of God.  The Word of God is a lamp to our feet for today and a light to our path for the future.  The Word of God throbs with the very passion of our God and of the power of the Holy Spirit.  The Word of God is the Only Truth by which we can live.  The Word of God is creative and sustains all things.  The Word of God heals and judges and gives faith. 

The Word of God is true and eternal and will endure forever.  The Word of God never returns empty.

The Word of God gives us resurrection life for the law of the LORD is perfect, reviving our soul.  The Word of God gives us revelation and insight.  The Word of God raises us up to new levels of intimacy with Jesus and our Father and to new levels of life.

What was the last thing that God spoke to you about from the Word of God?  Have you incorporated this into your life? 

I encourage you to live by the Word of God and to bathe your time in the Word with prayer and a listening heart.

May we always live for the glory of God; exalt the name of Jesus Christ in all things; and live by the power of the Holy Spirit.
